Position Overview: Endoscopex is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Manager to join our team. The Contract Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, negotiation, and compliance to ensure successful execution of contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a thorough understanding of contract law and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the contract management process from initial contract review and negotiation through contract execution, implementation, and renewal.
  2. Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  3. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining positive relationships.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment on contract terms, requirements, and deliverables.
  5. Develop and maintain a centralized contract repository to track contract status, key milestones, and compliance requirements.
  6. Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the contract lifecycle, identifying potential risks or issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  7. Coordinate contract amendments, extensions, and terminations in accordance with contract terms and legal requirements.
  8. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, rights, and obligations.
  9. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  10. Prepare reports and analysis on contract performance, trends, and key metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, contract management, legal studies, or a related field required; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in contract management or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
  3. Thorough understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and contract management principles.
  4. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex contractual issues and develop practical solutions.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to review and interpret contracts accurately.
  7. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  10. Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all aspects of contract management.
