Position Overview: Endoscopex is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of products, and leading a team of warehouse staff to maintain a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in inventory management, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing endoscopy products.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Oversee inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy verification.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to warehouse team members as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to coordinate order fulfillment and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations, including sanitation and product handling standards.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment rates, and labor productivity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software applications used for inventory control and order processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and drive implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed to support business operations.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
